Berger's 42,000 square foot facility in San Jose, California houses contract assembly, QA, test, kitting and logistical services. Engineering support is in both facilities.
		Fabrication & Sheet Metal Manufacturing Understanding our customers' needs, spending time at their facilities, and working closely with their engineering, manufacturing and material groups allows Berger Manufacturing to add value at the most cost effective stage of manufacturing.  Our experience enables us to work with our customers to develop designs that are both functional and easily manufactured.   (Built on world class manufacturing practices, Berger offers services in engineering, design for manufacturing (DFM), new product introduction (NPI), and testing to ensure quick delivery and quality products to our customers.) Our comprehensive fabrication facility, combined with a state of the art MRP system, allows Berger to be in control of the product throughout the manufacturing cycle.  Berger's fabrication facility has the ability to handle all our customers' punching, cutting, grinding, riveting, welding, and machining needs.  Our in-house capabilities insure that our customers will receive the highest quality products in a cost effective and timely manner.
		Logistics Management Berger Manufacturing currently uses the Exact Max software to control, manage, and process the implementation of all new and ongoing projects.  The Max system allows us to connect with other ERP systems to exchange information for faster reporting and implementation of any changes through the use of Max as well as other supplemental software.  We are capable of producing quick turnarounds on the quoting of new products into our fabrication lines. Berger is continually reviewing the supply chain process to improve the delivery and quality of material.  We work on growing the number of suppliers on our VMI (vendor managed inventory) program, which allows us to drive material accurately through our system with better forecasts and improved capacity planning.  Berger is continuously improving the processes that we have in place with our suppliers and vendors to allow the rapid delivery of product at the lowest total costs.
